Published: 4/15/2013

Graduate and undergraduate students in the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences are presenting their research at the 10th annual Student Research Symposium on Thursday, the URC Special Events Gym. Presentations will be based on new research findings, translational research, or research in progress, providing new data or information pertaining to disciplines or clinical practice within the College.

Research will be displayed and judged between 1 and 3 p.m. followed by guest speaker Kelyn Rola and awards ceremony until 4 p.m.

“The Harris College Research Symposium provides students the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and self-confidence in conducting and presenting their research in a professional venue, which will increase their preparedness for graduate school and professional employment,” said Debbie Rhea, associate dean of research in Harris College and chair of the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences Student Research Symposium.
