The 2013 Chamber Music Roundup in Fort Worth, which attracts amateur musicians of all levels, is set for today through Saturday in the School of Music facilities.

The Roundup provides an opportunity for the amateurs to play with top professionals who also serve as faculty for the daily workshops. Participants also enjoy working in chamber music groups with other music lovers and learning great compositions written for small ensembles. This year’s faculty/guest artists are Katie Wolfe (violin), Danaila Hristova Blair (conductor), Gloria Lin (piano), Jennifer Dalmas (violin), Michael Murray (cello), Martin Blessinger (music theory) and Jenifer Hund (music history) and Misha Galaganov (viola) who also is director of the annual event.

Two public concerts are scheduled. The faculty recital will be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 17 in PepsiCo Recital Hall. Admission is $15/$5 for students and seniors, free with TCU ID. A free participants performance will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 18 in PepsiCo Recital Hall. For more information, go to http://www.music.tcu.edu/Roundup.asp
