TCU will celebrate the holiday season with its annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2. in the Campus Commons outside Brown-Lupton University Union.

Those attending can expect the usual arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, accompanied by Chancellor Victor J. Boschini Jr., two live reindeer and music by the TCU Gospel Choir. This year's special attraction is a portable ice rink and skates provided for those who'd like to give it a whirl.

Order of Omega is again sponsoring a drive to collecting wrapped gifts to be brought to the tree-lighting. They are for children under the care of Child Protective Services in Fort Worth. Faculty, staff and students choose a card denoting a specific youngster and his/her hopes for a special present, then bring it wrapped to the tree-lighting.
