Liz Murray of "Homeless to Harvard" fame here Nov. 30

The Martin Delta Gamma Lectureship in Values & Ethics will present three events next Monday, all featuring motivational speaker Liz Murray.

 

 

Murray is known for her inspirational story of going from living on the streets of New York City to achieving academic success at Harvard University. The saga has been told both in a book and a Lifetime movie titled "Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story."

 

 

At noon Monday, there will be a working lunch for faculty and students in the Beck-Geren room of the BLUU. Seating is limited. RSVP to Keri Cyr at k.n.cyr@tcu.edu.

 

 

A mentoring session and dessert reception will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the BLUU ballroom. It is free and open to the public. Ms. Murray will give a keynote address at 4:30 p.m. in the ballroom, also followed by a dessert reception. For more information, contact Keri at ext. 6490.
