Coach Gary Patterson and the team celebrate the Fiesta Bowl announcement with fans Dec. 6 at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum

The third-ranked TCU football team will make its first appearance in a BCS game when it faces No. 6 Boise State in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 4 in Glendale, Ariz.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. MST at University of Phoenix Stadium. The game will be televised on FOX.

The Horned Frogs (12-0), who own the nation's second-longest current winning streak at 14 in a row, will be making their 11th bowl appearance in the last 12 seasons. TCU has won its last four bowl games and is one of just seven programs nationally to have a current bowl winning streak of at least four in row.

The 2010 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl will mark the 25th bowl appearance in TCU's history. The Horned Frogs are 11-12-1 in bowl games.
