$216 million and counting
Published: 1/25/2010

The Campaign for TCU totaled more than $216 million on December 31. With more than two years remaining in the campaign’s anticipated time frame, 86% of the $250 million goal has been raised.  Since the campaign began, $49.4 million has been contributed for academic programs and faculty support. Total faculty/ staff giving exceeds $3 million.

The $100 million TCU Scholarship Initiative, launched this academic year, has moved past the halfway point. Currently, scholarships remain the top campaign priority, though the University continues to raise funds for endowed positions, academic programs, faculty support and other needs.

“Philanthropic support from our alumni and friends since the beginning of the campaign has enhanced the University’s reputation and made TCU even stronger,” says Trustee Matthew K. Rose, the campaign chair.  “While we are confident about surpassing our $250 million goal, we must focus intently on the underfunded priorities to maximize the campaign’s impact.

“That is why Chancellor Boschini and the Board of Trustees have made scholarships the University’s highest priority. We must make TCU a choice that works for new generations of students and their families.”
