"Faculty & Friends" Chamber Music Series tonight

The School of Music invites you to Transfigured Night, a special evening in the "Faculty and Friends" Chamber Music Series, on Monday, Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in PepsiCo Recital Hall.

 

 

School of Music artist faculty Jesús Castro-Balbi, Misha Galaganov and Curt Thompson will be joined by guest artists violinist Arkady Fomin and cellist Chris Adkins from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, pianist David Korevaar from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and violist Andrei Yarovoy, performing Notturno by Schubert, Arnold Schoenberg's daunting string sextet Verklärte Nacht, and Mendelssohn's piano trio in C minor.
