Panel to discuss FWCA exhibition Feb. 18

Christina Rees, curator of The Galleries at TCU, will moderate a panel discussion on the current exhibition at Fort Worth Contemporary Arts, 2900 W. Berry Street. The event, set for 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18 will be at the gallery where Floor Corner Wall: Selections from The Rachofsky Collection is on display through Feb. 21.

 

Panelists include Dr. Frances Colpitt, Deedie Potter Rose Chair of Art History at TCU; Thomas Feulmer, curator of education at The Rachofsky Collection in Dallas and co-curator of Floor Corner Wall, Tom Orr, artist,  and Jeremy Strick, director of the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas.

 



This exhibition features work by artists who address the physical space of the gallery in architectural, psychological, or social terms, and includes sculptural works by Carl Andre, Mel Bochner, Tom Claassen, Tom Friedman, Jim Hodges, Siobhan Liddell, Mario Merz, Charles Ray, Richard Serra, and Rachel Whiteread.
