In Martin McDonagh’s dark and unsettling tale set in a small village in Ireland, middle-aged Maureen, who has been abandoned by her sisters to care for her abusive mother, Mag, may be experiencing her last chance at romance when she runs into Pato and his brother, Ray.  However, happiness may be a long time coming for this poor woman as her mother does everything to sabotage the relationship and keep her daughter trapped in servitude.  This twisted comedic drama of dysfunctional families and dashed hopes will leave every audience member affected.
