Most people considering suicide share their distress and their intent. Training can help us see and repond to these indications for help. It can give you the confidence to ask about suicide if you are concerned about someone’s safety and provide you with the tools to help prevent immediate risk.
The sessions are free to TCU faculty and staff, $150 to outside participants. It is suitable for faculty, university support staff, counselors, mental health professionals, nurses, physicians, police, clergy and community volunteers. Attendees can earn 14 LPC and Social Work CEUs.
