The Department of Criminal Justice and AddRan College of Liberal Arts will present Dr. Henry Pontell as their Green Chair lecturer tomorrow, March 30, at 6 p.m. in Moudy 141N.  He is professor of Criminology, Law and Society at the University of California, Irvine.

 

His talk is titled Global Meltdown: Fraud in Financial Crisis.  Dr. Powell will examine the current global economic recession in the context of sociological and criminological research and theory that highlight the role of fraud in major financial debacles. The Green Honors Chair program, established by the late Drs. Cecil H. and Ida Green of Dallas, brings a number of prominent scholars to campus each year.
