Reminder for faculty/staff walking in Commencement

It's time indicate your intention to participate in the faculty procession at one or both Commencements on Saturday, May 11 in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum (10 a.m.  AddRan, Fine Arts, Business and University Programs) and 3 p.m. (Brite, Communication, Education, Science & Engineering and Harris College).

 

All faculty and adjunct faculty are invited to participate in the faculty procession.  Also, any staff with advanced degrees employed on at least a three-quarter-time basis are invited to participate.  Please indicate which Commencement you will process in by registering.  (College deans do not need to register.)  Go to my.tcu.edu; click on the “Main Menu” purple button, then click on “Event Registration” and then “Register for Events.”  Please register no later than Friday, May 3.

  • Morning Commencement   Graduates and marshals will line up in the north concourse of the Coliseum at 9:15 a.m.  Other faculty and staff will line up in the lower concourse hallways (stadium side) at 9:30. 
  • Afternoon Commencement   Graduates and marshals will line up in the north concourse of the Coliseum at 2:15 p.m.  Other faculty and staff will line up in the lower concourse hallways (stadium side) at 2:30.

Regalia is available for rent or sale from Herff Jones Graduation Services.  To order regalia, please fill out the Regalia Reservation Form you received via e-mail immediately. You will then need to fax the form to 281-374-6042 or e-mail it to Gregg McDonald at hjcollegetx@sbcglobal.net.   Payment is due upon pick up but the University will pay half of your rental fee after the fact.  For reimbursement, take your completed reimbursement form, signed by your chair, dean or supervisor with your receipt to the Office of the Provost.
 
Regalia must be picked up at the Coliseum on Thursday, May 9 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
