Published: 4/26/2010

Between 9 a.m. and noon tomorrow, Tuesday, April 27, the TCU School of Music and the Conservatorio Giuseppe Tartini in Trieste, Italy will present a joint Piano Four Hands Master Class utilizing the Internet2 global network.

The Internet2 network is a high-bandwidth electronic “pipeline” which allows for DVD-quality video and audio signals to be sent between two locations in real time. The TCU School of Music has been active in developing and using this technology for music education and performance and has hosted a number of interactive collaborations with other Institutions.

TCU pianists José Feghali, Harold Martina and Professor Teresa Trevisan from the Conservatorio Giuseppe Tartini will take turns teaching and coaching piano students from both institutions.

The public is invited to observe the master class free of charge in PepsiCo Recital Hall.
