TCU has launched a new, official campus map to replace older, varied versions.

“The purpose of the new map is to offer one consistent version across campus,” said Everlyn Williams, maps project data steward. “Previously, there have been multiple versions that have not always been updated at the same time. As our campus changes physically, the University felt it was important to consistently update the data in one official version.”

The map, which has been approved by the Chancellor, will be updated and available in print each May. An online version will be updated each May and January.  Interactive features, such as the ability to view buildings by building type and to use Google maps for turn-by-turn directions on campus will be available soon.

Color or black and white versions are now available for download at www.maps.tcu.edu .  The TCU iPhone app was recently upgraded and reflects the new map as well.

A pocket-sized printed version of the map will be available May 17. To request copies for departmental needs, contact the Office of Community Projects at ext. 7808.  Departments should discard older versions of the printed map and use the current version for any online links to maps.
