Nominate someone for the Chancellor's Staff Award!
Published: 4/29/2013

Nominations for the 2013 Chancellor’s Staff Award are being accepted through Friday, May 24. This is the only campus award open exclusively to TCU staff in recognition of service, commitment, and dedication to the University.

Winner of the Chancellor’s Staff Award will be announced at the Opening Luncheon for faculty and staff on Friday, Aug. 16 in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum and receives $2,000. In addition, a color photograph of the recipient will join a gallery of past honorees in a place of honor on the third floor of Sadler Hall. Winners from each Vice Chancellor’s division, Brite Divinity School, and Athletics are also announced at the luncheon and receive $500 each.

You may nominate any ¾ or full time employee, who has served as a member of the staff (exempt or non-exempt) for at least five years (with the exception of members of the Chancellor’s Cabinet) whom you believe deserves recognition for exemplary service. It is not necessary to select a person in your own work area or division. You also may submit multiple nominations. Nominations are compiled by Sheri Miller, Director of Special Projects in the Chancellor’s Office (ext. 6207), and submitted to the head of each division of the University for selection. The division heads (Vice Chancellors, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and the President of Brite Divinity School) select a winner for each division from those nominated. Chancellor Boschini makes the final decision.

Submissions are easy. Just click on the link http://www.chancellor.tcu.edu/award/nominationform.asp and submit your nomination. You may make multiple nominations, not limited to those in your division.

Past winners are Sean Conner (Athletics), Shawn Wagner (University Union), Susan Adams (Campus Life), Jose Carpinteyro (Athletics), Margaret Kelly (Marketing & Communication), Ray Brown (Admission), Charlotte Hudspeth (nominated by Finance & Administration), Gay Boydston (University Advancement), Becky Roach (Academic Affairs) and Rev. John Butler (Student Affairs).
