More than 200 guests attended the popular Women's Football Clinic last week, hosted by Gary Patterson, assistant coaches and team members.

Players and coaches gave fans an inside look at the TCU Football program at the annual Gary Patterson Women’s Football Clinic last Thursday night in the Meyer-Martin Athletic Complex.

More than 200 attendees got to meet and hear from head coach Gary Patterson, assistant coaches and several players. Quarterback Andy Dalton, offensive lineman Marcus Cannon, linebacker Tank Carder and safety Tejay Johnson fielded questions from FSN Southwest reporter Emily Jones and audience members.

Players and coaches helped explain TCU football philosophy, some football terminology, as well as provide an outlook on the upcoming season. Proceeds from the event benefit Project Purple, which hosts area youngsters at TCU Athletics events. Last year, Project Purple raised over $20,000 to bring local youth to Horned Frog sporting events.
