Child Care Network pilot up and running
Published: 8/30/2010

TCU shared news of a partnership with Camp Fire USA First Texas Council late last semester. This partnership will provide you with a dedicated program to identify and evaluate quality child care providers, school age care and other family resource referrals. The Child Care Network (CCN) pilot program officially launched in spring 2010.

What does that mean to you?  You can access the network resources by simply calling 817-831-5060 or emailing CCRR@CampFireFW.org.

How CCN Works At-a-Glance:

1.    Call Camp Fire’s Child Care Resource and Referral representative for TCU at 817-831-5060
2.    Identify yourself as a TCU employee
3.    They will discuss your needs and work with you to identify providers who can meet your child care needs. This includes infants through Pre-K and school age (5-12 years) children.
4.    You will receive matches based on your criteria for care.
5.    You may call Camp Fire’s Child Care Resource & Referral specialist as many times as needed.

For a more detailed explanation of the program and to learn more, you can attend a "lunch and learn" event at noon on Thursday, Sept 30 at Kelly Center, Cox A. You may also call the Camp Fire representative at the number provided.

We look forward to the benefits this new resource will provide all of our employees and we welcome your feedback on the process and benefit as we move forward. For questions about the program or lunch and learn event, contact Human Resources at ext. 7790.
