Published: 11/1/2010

The MBA program at TCU's Neeley School of Business is one of the top 300 in the nation, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company also ranked Neeley No. 10 for “Most Competitive Students.”

The Princeton Review selects the best business schools based on opinion of their academic programs and offerings, data collected from the schools, and the candid opinions of students.

“I’m pleased that the high quality of the TCU MBA program continues to be recognized among the best in the nation by such a notable authority on higher education, and delighted that our excellent MBA students are being lauded,” said O. Homer Erekson, John V. Roach Dean of the Neeley School of Business at TCU.

The Neeley School is featured in the 2011 edition of The Best 300 Business Schools and on www.princetonreview.com, as one of the best institutions students could attend to earn an MBA.  The “Most Competitive Students” ranking is based on TCU MBA students’ assessments of how competitive classmates are, how heavy the workload is, and the perceived academic pressure. Neeley students said, while the” workload is substantial” and "time management is essential,” “The Neeley School does an outstanding job of recruiting down-to-earth people that would rather help one another succeed than aggressively compete against each other.” “Faculty bend over backwards to maximize our experiences” and they “genuinely care about the success of the students.” A student praised, “TCU’s faculty has an open-door policy that, for the first time in my educational and occupational history, actually exists.”

TCU MBA students said the school has “the best faculty, who are well-published and have been in their industries or departments for a long time.” Real-world applications are definitely emphasized at TCU. Students prepare for the workplace through TCU’s myriad experiential learning programs, such as the sales and marketing case competition, business simulations, and through the unique “Neeley and Associates, a class offered where students act as consultants to help real businesses solve real problems.”Students also said: “Career services is outstanding.”

The Best 300 Business Schools: 2011 Edition also has advice on applying to business schools and funding the degree. It is one of the more than 165 Princeton Review books published by Random House. For more information, visit www.princetonreview.com
