Dr. Keith Whitworth (Sociology) was the recipient of last year's Ferrari Award, presented at Fall Commencement by Dr. Boschini.

Nominations for the Michael R. Ferrari Award for Distinguished Service and Leadership may now be submitted online. Deadline for submissions is Friday, Nov. 19.

Open to all faculty and staff, the award recognizes extraordinary achievement beyond the recipient's work responsibilities.

Nominees are those in our community who go the extra mile to solve a significant problem, manage an important project, design a creative new initiative or reach out to improve the University or surrounding community. A $5,000 cash award accompanies this honor, which will be announced during Fall Commencement on Dec. 18.

Past winners are Keith Whitworth (Sociology & Anthropology), Tara Perez (Physical Plant), Leo Munson (Academic Affairs), José Feghali (School of Music) and Ed McNertney (Economics). To nominate a colleague, go to http://www.chancellor.tcu.edu/ferrariaward/nomform_2010.asp
