"Faculty & Friends" Chamber Music tonight

Cello professor Jesus Castro-Balbi is the founding director of the "Faculty & Friends" Chamber Music Series

The TCU School of Music invites you to "Gypsy Night," the third concert in the Faculty & Friends Chamber Music Series for 2010-2011, this evening, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. in PepsiCo Recital Hall. 

 

Performers include San-ky Kim (tenor), Celeste Golden and Michael Shih (violins), Misha Galaganov (viola), Jesús Castro-Balbi (cello), Gloria Lin and Harold Martina (piano) and Timothy Watkins (program annotator).

 

The program includes Piano Trio in G major Hob. XV/25 - Joseph Haydn; Gypsy Melodies (Cikánské Melodie), B. 104 (Op. 55) - Antonín Dvorák; Tzigane: Concert Rhapsody - Maurice Ravel; Piano Quartet in G minor, op. 25 - Johannes Brahms
