Dance concert coming up Nov. 4-6, free with TCU ID

The School for Classical & Contemporary Dance will present its Fall Concert Nov. 4-5 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 5-6 at 2 p.m. in Ed Landreth Auditorium. The event is free to faculty, staff and students with a TCU ID. Regular admission is $10/$5 at the door.

 

The program includes a performance of Fandango, choreographed by the late Antony Tudor in 1971. It has been staged by Amanda McKerrow and John Gardner.

 

The performance will also include Under, choreographed by Sarah Gamblin, and the premiere of Invisible Song, choreographed by SCCD faculty member Susan Douglas-Roberts.

 

The concert concludes with Serenade, a Balanchine® Ballet, presented by arrangement with The George Balanchine Trust. Répétiteur for the Trust is Michele Gifford.
