An architectural rendering of the new gates

Work will begin this month on a new campus entry gate at the corner of W. Berry Street and Bellaire Drive W. Architects Bennett Benner Pettit have designed a structure that will complement the Ray Gates, which went up in 2005 at the intersection of Berry and Stadium Drive.

The purpose is to improve identification of the far southwest boundary of the University and serve as a welcoming gateway to campus activity.  Linbeck Construction is in charge of the project which is set for completion in May.
