School of Music presents Brahms sonatas for piano and strings tonight, tomorrow

The Mitchelmore Master Series in the School of Music will host “The Brilliance of Brahms: Sonatas for Strings and Piano” at 7 p.m. tonight, March 5, and tomorrow night, March 6, in PepsiCo Recital Hall. Admission is free.

Performers include pianists Laurana Rice Mitchelmore, Neal Kurz, José Feghali, John Owings and Harold Martina, violinists Kate Ransom and Curt Thompson, celloists Lawrence Stomberg and Jesús Castro-Balbi and Misha Galaganov (viola).
