Get in on the TCU video contest by March 16

Tell your TCU story — and get the opportunity to win some terrific prizes.  The You + TCU video contest celebrates The Campaign for TCU and the $415 million it has brought to the University.  The contest is easy to enter and requires no more that a smart phone video camera and some creativity.  It’s open to all students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends of TCU — anybody with a story to tell.  The highpoints are listed below and you at www.youplustcu.com.

 

So grab a camera and video yourself and/or your colleagues, students or friends answering the following questions:
1. What about TCU makes you the most proud?
2. What photo or item best represents your experience at TCU?
3. My (our) time at TCU has helped me (us) ____________.
4. In a single word, describe TCU.
5. The most impactful change I’ve (we’ve) seen on campus is __________.

 

Here’s what you can win:
Grand Prize: Use of a luxury box for one home Horned Frog football game during the 2012 season
Second-Place Prize: A new Canon t3 camera and a $150 gift card (approximate retail value of $650)
Third-Place Prize: A pair of Nocona TCU boots, a pair of OCJ Apparel TCU jeans and $100 gift card (approximate retail value of $500)

 

How will the video you submit be used?  Snippets of videos entered in the contest will be used to make a crowd-sourced video that will celebrate the University and The Campaign for TCU.  We are looking for videos that show all aspects of the TCU experience.

 

How will the crowd-sourced video be used? The final video will be shown at a variety of events and will be on several TCU websites.

 

What’s The Campaign for TCU anyway? The Campaign for TCU has raised more than $415 million and changed the campus in amazing ways — the Campus Commons, scholarships and much more.
 
When does the contest end?  Midnight, March 16
