The School of Music invites you to an evening of vocal jazz music presented by Purple, White and Blues, the TCU Vocal Jazz Ensemble at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Ed Landreth Auditorium.  Performers include Joey Carter on piano, Kyp Green on bass, Joseph MacMorren on drums and Jesse Washmon on guitar, along with 18 talented student singers, directed by Amy Stewart.

 

The concert includes jazz standards such as Lullaby of Birdland, Comes Love, and Blue Skies, as well as jazz arrangements of Beatles, Bach and Broadway tunes.

 

The event is free and open to the public.
