Circle of Excellence brings temporary parking changes
Published: 5/21/2012

Construction has begun on a Circle of Excellence, a project recently approved by the TCU Board of Trustees to recognize outstanding Horned Frogs who have achieved academic, leadership or athletic success.

Location is the Frog Alley area which will be transformed into a primarily pedestrian plaza with restricted vehicle access. The project is slated for completion by late fall. Architect is HKS, Inc., and builder is Austin Commercial. Frog Alley and Lot 6 (Alumni lot) will be open by Sept. 1 before the first football game while the Circle of Excellence will still be in progress.

During this period, construction fencing in the area has eliminated 55 parking spaces in the Kelly Center lot, however, they will be added back when the fence is removed. Visitors to campus this summer may park in non-reserved spaces in any campus lot, on a first-come, first-served basis, including Lot 5 (freshman lot).
