Kelly Center lot undergoing changes
Published: 8/20/2012

Reconfiguration/construction of Lot 6 outside the Kelly Center is under way, with reopening of the lot scheduled for shortly after it is restriped and the paint has dried.

In related news, Austin Commercial is currently finishing work along Frog Alley and beginning foundation work for the Circle of Excellence.  They are completing asphalt activities on the west half of Lot 6.  It will be necessary to reconfigure the entire lot in order to recoup lost parking spaces due to Circle of Excellence.  This requires moving light poles (new foundations and trench work), moving the emergency blue phone, resealing the lot, and new parking striping.

This work will require shutting down the entire lot for 5-6 days.  There may be opportunities to open the west half of the lot for staff parking but some activities will require closure of the entire lot. Alternative parking is available at the Tom Brown/Pete Wright visitor lot and the south half of Lot 4 on the west side of campus. Any questions should be directed to Patrick Mucker (Physical Plant) at p.mucker@tcu.edu.
