E-tickets for football games available for exchanging, transfer with other Horned Frogs
Published: 9/4/2012

TCU E-Tickets, a new interactive digital ticketing solution, has been implemented for the Horned Frogs' debut football season in the Big 12 and the new Amon G. Carter Stadium.

TCU fans can now print single-game tickets at home and make electronic ticket transfers. The transfers may only be utilized with season tickets and are not available for single-game tickets.

"We are very excited about offering these new services," TCU director of intercollegiate athletics Chris Del Conte said. "Our fans can now avoid lines at the will-call windows in addition to having a marketplace, through TCU, to exchange and transfer unused tickets electronically with other Horned Frogs."

Single-game ticket purchasers may now print at the office or at home using a standard printer. Each print-at-home ticket arrives as a separate attachment and should be printed on an 8 1/2 x 11-inch sheet of white paper using either black or color ink. A print-at-home ticket should be treated just like any other ticket.

For fan security, print-at-home tickets are individually bar-coded. The bar-code allows one scan per entry. Any attempts to duplicate, alter or sell any copies of the print-at-home ticket may result in admittance being refused at the stadium.

Another added feature of TCU E-Tickets allows season-ticket holders who encounter scheduling conflicts to email their tickets to another person as part of the ticket transfer program. For a $5 handling fee, ticket holders may forward their tickets to other fans, who can then print the tickets at home for use on game day. The $5 handling fee can be charged to the person receiving the tickets. If the tickets are not utilized, no fee is assigned.

Season-ticket holders must log in to their online account to transfer tickets. Bar codes are printed on each transferred ticket and scanners are used at each entrance to
validate the tickets. Once a ticket transfer is made, the original ticket becomes null and void and may not be used for admittance. All ticket transfers must be completed two hours before the start of the game.
