The University has launched its 2012 United Way Campaign with an announced goal of $120,000.

This year’s campus United Way Campaign chair is Margaret Kelly (Executive Director of Community Projects), assisted by Nancy Styles (Marketing & Communication), campus campaign coordinator. Meetings can be scheduled for every area of campus, where faculty and staff will have an opportunity to learn more about United Way, the services provided, and how to make pledges to the 2012 United Way campaign.

All faculty and staff should have received their packets by interoffice mail and again it will be possible to make your pledge online.  You should already have received an email message from Margaret and United Way, explaining the process and instructing users how to access the online donation form.  TCU employees have several options for donations.  They may select the payroll deduction method, credit card, cash or check or request billing from United Way.

Again this year, Tarrant County United Way is focusing on three issues:  Education, Income and Health.  They also have special focuses on Homelessness and the Women’s Endowment Fund.  There are 45 community partner agencies and more than 100 United Way funded programs serving Tarrant County.  For more information, call Nancy at ext. 7808.
