If you think you may be depressed, mark your calendar for Feb. 19

The Counseling, Testing and Mental Health Center will sponsor a Depression Screening Day for faculty, staff and students on Tuesday, Feb. 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first floor of the BLUU.The process takes only five minutes and consists of a brief questionnaire, followed by a chat with a Counseling Center psychologist to score the results.

 

According to Kristin Harris-McDonald from the Counseling Center, signs of depression can include feeling different from others, difficulty sleeping, skipping classes, feeling down, feeling unmotivated and loss of interest in typical activities.
