Former Prime Minister of Spain to speak at Fox Forum Feb. 27

Spanish politician José Luis Zapatero will be the Fox Forum of World Leaders speaker on Feb. 27.

José Luis Zapatero, former Prime Minister of Spain, will be the sixth speaker at The Vicente Fox Forum of World Leaders at TCU. His appearance will be from 10:15 – 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the BLUU ballroom. Zapatero is a Spanish politician who served as prime minister of Spain from 2004 – 2011.

 

Former Mexican president Vicente Fox was the Forum’s first speaker, followed by former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien, former ruler and President of Nigeria the Honorable Olusegun Obasanjo.

 

A key focus of the Forum is facilitating connections between former world leaders and college and high school students to encourage leadership development among youth and provide them with a glimpse of presidential leadership. TCU students, as well as students from area high schools and other universities, will be able to attend the afternoon Forums free of charge.
