Closure of Library parking lot signals progress for Intellectual Commons
Published: 3/11/2013

The week of March 11 marks the start of construction on both the new Instructional Building and the addition to the Bass Building, both due for completion in August 2014.

Permanently closing the Library parking lot and moving the current construction fence to the sidewalk on Lowdon Street signals a milestone for the project. Once finished, the building will house academic classrooms, faculty offices, interdisciplinary space, library functions and become the home to the TCU Energy Institute and the Institute for Child Development.

On another construction site, city work on the Stadium Drive water line necessitates closure of the intersection at Bellaire Drive overnight Monday, March 11 and Tuesday, March 12.
