HR fashion show event casts faculty & staff as storybook characters

Each year for the past three, Human Resources hosts a social wellness luncheon where faculty and staff act as models in a fashion show while employees from HR and Risk Management function as servers. This year’s event, held April 23 in the Kelly Center, was attended by 125 faculty and staff from all over campus.

This year’s chosen theme was a Fairy Tale Luncheon with models dressed as characters from the pages of children’s stories, in costumes crafted by Judy Cartmill (post office). Magnus Rittby (Physics & Astronomy) was master of ceremonies.

Models and the characters they portrayed include:
Amiso George (Schieffer School) and Chris Sawyer (Communication Studies) - Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter
Kim Weber (IT Customer Services) and Gorland Mar (Publications) – Cinderella and Prince Charming
Aisha Torrey-Sawyer (Neeley Academic Advising Center) and Chandler Smith (University Advancement) – Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf
June Koelker (Library) and Hollis Dyer (Physical Plant) – Snow White and Grumpy
Pam Christian (TCU Police) and Mike Fazli (TCU Police) – Dorothy and the Tin Man
Tim Barth (Psychology) and Marie Schein (Modern Language Studies) - Hansel and Gretel
