Entrepreneurship group named best in nation

The Neeley Entrepreneurship Center took 46 students and four staff to the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization national conference in Chicago and walked away with top prize.

TCU Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (TCU CEO) was recognized with:

TCU was the only university with more than one student competing in the National Elevator Pitch Competition. Three TCU students competed against 60 students from universities around the country, and two, Ryan Fleisch and Gentry Robinson, finished in the top 10.

In addition to participating in the conference and competitions, TCU CEO officers led several chapter development sessions to help new chapters learn how to build and grow clubs on their campus.  The night before the conference began, TCU CEO leaders met with Chicago alumni, hosted by Tom Meagher, Neeley International Board of Visitors member, at the offices of Grosvenor Capital Management.

Tracy Williams, assistant director of the Neeley School’s Center for Professional Communication, helped prepare the students who were in competitions and accompanied them to Chicago.
