Schieffer Symposium Wednesday will present Ann Curry, Maureen Dowd, William Kristol, Michael Eisner


TCU’s Schieffer School of Journalism will hold its sixth annual Schieffer Symposium Wednesday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m. in Ed Landreth Auditorium. Bob Schieffer, CBS’ Face the Nation moderator, CBS News’ Chief Washington Correspondent, and 1959 TCU graduate will again host this year's Symposium, titled "A Gridlocked Congress and an Angry Public: What Now is the Role of the Media?"

 

 

Panelists include Ann Curry, co-anchor of Dateline NBC and news anchor of Today show; Maureen Dowd, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for The New York Times; Michael Eisner, former chairman of The Walt Disney Company and current CEO of The Tornante Company; and William Kristol, founder and editor of The Weekly Standard.
