Sean Conner wins this year's Chancellor's Staff Award

Sean Conner, ticket operations manager in Athletics, was named winner of this year’s Chancellor’s Staff Award at Friday's Opening Luncheon in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.  Chancellor Victor J. Boschini Jr. made the presentation.  The annual honor, created in 2002, affirms the important contribution and service that staff make to support the mission and vision of the University.

Sean came to TCU in November 2005. According to a staff member who submitted the nomination, “Sean…has entrenched himself with the campus and Fort Worth communities.  He is accessible and someone who is always willing to take the time to speak with one of our stakeholders.”  She also mentioned, “Sean played in a leadership role in the reseating of Amon G. Carter Stadium.   Through the leadership shown by Sean, our ticket office and Frog Club staffs were able to connect with TCU season-ticket holders, donors, alumni, faculty, staff, and fans working one-on-one with folks not onlyto explain the reseating process but also put many at ease with their uncertainties…Sean was able to balance the personal touch while also making sure TCU was up to industry standards with its modernization of the process.”   She goes on to say, “He represents what it means to be a Horned Frog.”

A photo portrait of Sean will soon join the gallery display of Chancellor’s Staff Award winners outside the Wright Boardroom on the fourth floor of Sadler Hall.
