TCU's Asian Studies program is hosting scholar Steven Lewis of Rice University for a public lecture on the implications of shale gas development in both the U.S. and China for global energy supply and security.  His remarks are based on his research at the Baker Institute for Public Policy Energy Forum on the global gas trade and his own work on the energy security policies of China's localities.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be Friday, March 22 from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Beck/Geren rooms of the BLUU.  For more information, contact Carrie Liu Currier, director of Asian Studies at c.currier@tcu.edu or at ext. 6853.
